About Me

Amanda Mills Nutritional Therapist
Bsc Nutritional Medicine mBANT, CNHC registered.

I achieved a science and evidence based degree in Nutritional Medicine from the University of West London. My passion is to make nutritional changes easy and accessible to give changes that are ongoing and permanent. I am passionate about food and its relationship to our health. Just because food is healthy it doesn’t have to be boring. Once you start looking at food differently a whole range of foods, flavours and experiences open up.

Recognise the importance of diet and lifestyle in achieving an optimal level of health. I use nutritional science to develop a safe, personalised nutrition programme.

I work with other health care professionals. If you have a medical issue I will advise a visit to your GP prior to booking an appointment. I also recommend your GP is informed that you are working with me.

I am a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT). BANT is the professional body that promotes the highest standards of education, practice and ethics in its Nutritionist members and continued Professional Development (CPD) is a requirement for membership.

I am also a registered practitioner of The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). The CNHC is a government recognised regulatory body for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and is funded by the Department Of Health (DoH). As such I am bound by a strict code of ethics.

I am fully insured with Balens who provide specialist insurance for health professionals.
